The Willard's Mountain Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on April 18, 1897, in Greenwich, New York. The chapter is named in honor of Stephen Willard, an American scout who kept watch from the top of a mountain in Easton, New York, to report Burgoyne's army movements to the American commander in Saratoga, New York, during the Revolutionary War.
The chapter currently has 29 members and meetings are held the second Saturday of every month, at 10:30 a.m.
