The Skenandoah Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on November 10, 1902, in Oneida Castle, New York.  The name "Skenandoah" was chosen in honor of Chief Skenandoah of the Oneida Tribe for his services to the colonists during the American Revolution.

The chapter has 57 members and meets on the second Thursday evening of the month.
