NSDAR NYDAR Membership       Requirements

Otsego Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Cooperstown, New York The Otsego Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1894, at Cooperstown, New York.  Still in Cooperstown today, the chapter is located on Otsego Lake, where General Clinton dammed the Susquehanna River.  Currently, the chapter has 35 members. The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.
