The Anna Ingalsbe Lovell Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on October 5, 2002, in Elba, New York. It is named in honor of Anna Ingalsbe Lovell, who worked at a hotel in Boston frequented by General George Washington. She and General Washington became friends and her husband and father both served in the Revolutionary War. The chapter has 30 members and meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. For membership information, please contact Diane Eldridge, Chapter Regent. |
