The Anna Ingalsbe Lovell Chapter, NSDAR was organized on October 5, 2002, in Elba, New York. It is named in honor of Anna Ingalsbe Lovell, who worked at a hotel in Boston frequented by General George Washington. She and General Washington became friends and her husband and father both served in the Revolutionary War.
