The Colonel Bigelow Lawrence Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on December 7, 1989, which is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

The chapter took its name from Bigelow Lawrence, American Revolutionary War Soldier, Sergeant, 18th Regiment Militia of Connecticut.  Captain and Major, Regiment Militia of Vermont.  (b. 27 May 1741, Killingly, Connecticut.  d.19 January 1818, Marcellus, Onondaga County, New York.)

The Colonel Bigelow Lawrence Chapter currently has 35 members.  Meetings take place on the fourth Wednesday evening of the following months: October, November, December, March, April, May, and June.
