Canandaigua Chapter

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

Canandaigua, New York

The Canandaigua Chapter NSDAR was organized October 14, 1977, in Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York. "Canandaigua," a derivative of the old Seneca name Kanandarque or "chosen spot," has been the name of our city since 1788 and was earlier the name of a Seneca village destroyed during General Sullivan's Revolutionary War expedition.

Canandaigua Chapter has 54 members. For membership information, please contact Cynthia Schwab, Chapter Regent.
